Reinstate a canceled policy

About this task

If a policy cancellation date has not yet occurred, you can either reinstate the policy or revert the policy:

  • When you reinstate a policy, you return the policy to a status of Issued.

  • When you revert a policy cancellation, you return the submission to a status of Cancellation Pending.

To reinstate a canceled policy:

Procedure

  1. Open the canceled policy that you want to reinstate.
  2. From the Actions menu, select Reinstate.
  3. In the confirmation window, select your reason and enter any additional comments.
    • If you select Other, you must enter a reason.
  4. Click Confirm.

Results

The system reinstates the policy. The policy page updates to include the reinstatement.
