Compare quotes in a proposal

About this task

In the proposal builder, if you have more than one quote, you can include a report that compares the quotes.

In the proposal builder, select Actions > Add Section.
In the Add Section dialog box, select Quote Comparison.
The Quote Comparison window opens.
Select the quotes you want to compare.
Specify the Comparison Style.
- Side-by-Side (the default) provides a row for each compared field and a column for each quote.
- Stacked provides a column for each compared field and a row for each quote.
Select the field you want to include in the comparison report.
Optional: To add more fields, click the plus sign (+).
Optional: To remove fields, click the trash icon and then select the fields you want to delete.
You must have a minimum of one field on the report, so you cannot delete all the rows.

You can continue working on other parts of the proposal or the quotes until you are ready to Preview and send the proposal.

The Quote Comparison section is included in the proposal and is visible in the preview.
