A package containing one or more quotes as well as any other documentation to
support the quote. Other documentation may include a formal cover letter, insurer marketing material, and specimen policy forms.
Note: All Underwriting Management documentation presumes that a single proposal
can contain multiple quotes. If your configuration allows only a single quote
per proposal, anywhere Proposals are referenced, you can consider the
proposal to contain a single quote.) |
Proposals
After a submission has been cleared and the initial underwriting triage and evaluation has been performed, you can create formal proposals.
You can create as many proposals as you want for a submission. You can also send multiple proposals to an agent so the agent can select the most desirable one. Each proposal has a number associated with it. If you delete a proposal, the number is not reused.
At any point, you can get more information on what you need to complete or fix by hovering your cursor over a disabled command. A tooltip appears with information on what is required so that you can proceed.
