Submissions panel

The list of submissions in the Submissions panel may include active submissions or all submissions belonging to you or to your branch, depending on custom and default filters. Each submission is shown with data in sortable columns, such as Insured, Submission number, Status, Status Reason, Effective date, Premium, Next Action, Assigned To, Product, and Priority.

You can configure the columns that display in the panel by clicking the Settings icon (Settings icon.), and selecting Configure Columns.

Note: While submission status appears in the Status column, workflow status icons may also appear in the Insured column, to the right of the Insured name. For more information, refer to Workflow status icons.

In the Submission panel you can do the following:

View or edit submissions

Click a submission name to open it for viewing or editing.

When you reopen a submission (during the same session), the submission opens to the section you most recently viewed.

Expand submission details

Click the Expand icon at the end of the row for a submission to view more details about the submission. Click the Expand icon again to collapse the view.

When the submission is expanded and the submission includes at least one quote or policy, the Quotes & Policies grid displays information about the submission's quotes and policies. You can click the hyperlink on the quote or policy number to view more information about the quote or policy. Refer to Quotes & Policies grid in Submissions panel.

Access default and custom filters

Click the Drop-Down icon at the right of the currently selected filter in the panel title bar to choose from preset filters (such as Active and All) and saved custom filters. (When you have selected a saved custom filter, a Save Filter As drop-down menu appears. From that menu, you can select Delete Filter if you want to remove the custom filter.) Search for submissions

Sort submissions

Sort a column by clicking the column name. The caret next to the column name indicates whether the data in the column is displaying in ascending (Ascending icon.) or descending (Descending icon.) order.

Reorder submission columns Select the column header of the column you want to move, and then drag and drop it into its new location.

Configure panel properties

Access a menu of options for the panel by clicking the Settings icon and then selecting the option you want to use.

You can select the following options from the Submissions panel Settings menu:
  • Download CSV file of the submission list.

  • Configure Columns by selecting check boxes next to the name of the columns you want to display and deselecting the check boxes next to the name of the columns you do not want to display. (You can also use the Save as filter option from the Filters ares to save columns as part of a custom filter.)

  • Minimize the panel.

  • Maximize the panel.

  • Return to Default Size.

  • Bulk Reassign submissions to another user. (Refer to Bulk reassign submissions.)

Results per Page drop-down list

Select the number of submissions or tasks to display in the panel. Possible values are 25, 50, or 100. The selection is persisted so that the selected number of results per page (for each panel) display the next time you log into Underwriting Management

Browse to other pages

Click a page number, Back, or Next in the page browser at the bottom of a panel to view additional pages of content for that panel.

Note: From anywhere in Underwriting Management, you can return to the Home page by clicking Home at the top-left of the window.
