Submission data
If your system has been configured to support the AppReader tool, you may elect to upload your ACORD application form when creating the submission. For more information, refer to Upload from an ACORD application.

The following fields display on the Submission Details form when you are creating a new submission and on the Submission form for an existing submission.
Field | Description |

Insured Name |
The name of the person or organization for which you are creating a submission. |
Priority |
You can optionally designate a priority to a submission: Low, Medium, High. You can see these priorities in the Priority column on the Home page. Low priority is the default. Once the submission is in progress, you can change the priority in the Submission section. |
Renewal? |
If you select this option, you can link this submission as the renewal of an expiring policy. Underwriting Management searches for a matching policy number. If a matching policy number is found and if the submission of that matching policy is valid, Underwriting Management links the two submissions. |
Effective Date |
This defaults to the current date. Select another date if the current date is not the effective date of coverage. This is required before the Create Application option is enabled. |
Expiration Date |
By default, this is one year from the effective date, or it is equal to the configured policy period boundary if that value is less than one year from the effective date. This is required before the Create Application option is enabled. |
Needed By Date |
Select a date if the agency needs to have the quote by a certain date. |
Received Date |
Select the date you want the underwriter to receive the application. |
Products |
Select the products to include in the submission. The options that display are based on the products you are authorized to submit. These products may be more general than the products that are available for quoting. |
Agency Information
The following fields display on the Submission Details form when you are creating a new submission and on the Submission form for an existing submission.
In this section, you can type the few letters of the entity or the entity code to filter the list. (If the list is too long, nothing will display until you begin typing to filter it.) You can enter multiple strings, separated by a space, comma, or semicolon to return organization's whose description includes all of those strings.
To clear the search filter, click the x on the right end of the field.

Agency |
Select the agency associated with the submission. |
Producer |
Select the producer who initiated the submission from the list of producers who are associated with the agency you selected. The Producers who appear in the list are associated with the Agency/Brokerage you selected from the Agency/Brokerage list and have a role of Producer. |
Agency Contact |
Select the agency contact for this submission from the list of contacts who are associated with the agency or producer you selected. |
Carrier Information
The following fields display on the Submission form for an existing submission.

Carrier Branch |
Carrier branch that is associated with the submission. |
Underwriter |
Underwriter who is responsible for the submission; this list contains underwriters who are associated with the selected carrier branch. The responsible Underwriter is the primary Underwriter on the submission. The submission may have other Assigned To users to manage specific tasks for the submission, but the responsible Underwriter remains consistent, even when the submission is assigned to another Underwriter. |
Assigned To |
Assigned To user who is currently assigned the submission; this list contains users who are associated with the selected carrier branch. This user is not the primary Underwriter on the submission, but is someone to whom the submission is assigned to perform certain tasks. |
Service Team
The Service Team section exists on the Submission form for existing submissions. Service Team users can manage this area of the Submission form, even if they do not have permission to modify the application.
Service Team members are users who can be assigned to submissions and who work in areas other than underwriting, such as loss control, claims, auditing, and so on.
Additional Information
The Additional Information section of the Submission form contains information related to how and when the submission was created and when it was last modified.

Agent Quoting status, which indicates whether Agent Quoting is enabled. |
Created By Org Type |
Type of organization that created the submission, such as Carrier,Agency, MGA, or MGA Agency/Brokerage. |
