Collaboration tools: Tasks
With Task collaboration, you can create, assign, view, and resolve tasks in the context of the relevant submission. The tasks list includes the assignee, date and time the task was created or edited, task summary, task details, and due date. A paperclip icon indicates that there is a file attached to the task. Tasks that have been resolved are listed at the bottom of the list under Completed Tasks.

Search for a task |
In the Search Tasks field, type the text you want to search for. You can only search the Summary, Task details, Assign To, or Assigned by fields. |
View a task |
Click on any task to view the entire task. To return to the list of tasks, click the Task window title bar. |
Create a task |

Edit a task |
Click on any task. You can change all of the fields except the Assigned by field. When you are done, click the Task window title bar. Your edits are saved and you return to the list of tasks. You cannot make changes to a task that has been resolved (completed). |
Delete a task |
Click on any task and then click the trashcan icon at the bottom of the window. Click Yes to confirm. You cannot delete a task that has been resolved (completed). |
Resolve a task |
Click on any task, select the Resolution Reason, enter any Resolution Notes, and then click Resolve Task at the bottom of the window. Then, choose whether you want to send an email notification that the task is resolved, and click Yes to confirm. Reminders about the due date and reminder date are then canceled. |
Refresh documents in Collaboration tool | Click the Refresh icon in the Collaboration tool title bar to pull in changes to documents in any of the Collaboration tool drawers that have taken place in an external Document Management System while the submission is open. |
